DESCRIPTION

Help us to plan, manage and deliver our space systems projects. We're looking for a Junior Project Manager with a technical background to join the team and manage the implementation, reporting and delivery of key projects. Experience within the space industry would be ideal but is not essential.

The Junior Project Manager will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of mission life cycle activities, from bid generation and detailed planning, to design, analysis, production, assembly, integration, test, launch and operations.

The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for tasks including:

  • Setting up projects and controlling the planning, costs and scope
  • Managing day-to-day aspects of the projects and tracking and reporting on progress and status
  • Coordinating and managing internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Maintaining the relationship with customers and stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation
KEY SKILLS
  • Space industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Previous project management of space systems, satellite programs or other technically complex systems
  • Results-orientated with an ability to provide solutions and a drive to deliver
  • Previous experience of leading teams, planning and reporting
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to present information clearly to a diverse audience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting workloads
  • Ability to work independently, and also within a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Ability to thrive in a technical environment
  • Ability to work remotely, at our offices in Farnborough, and at customer facilities when necessary

KISPE Space Systems are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Electronics Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic and fast paced team. A degree or equivalent in the STEM area is desirable but not essential, if you have a good understanding and interest in electronics we want to hear from you!

We’re a small team, which means that you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of different activities, including:

  • Assisting in the design and development of new products 
  • Working with digital electronics and FPGAs 
  • Assisting with the generation of schematic designs
  • Getting involved in all areas of concept design, prototyping and testing
  • Carrying out electronic assembly and testing
KEY SKILLS
  • Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths Degree (or equivalent experience)

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support the development and implementation of our satellite programmes.

The Spacecraft Systems Engineer will support the development of the architecture, technical trades, risk analysis, requirement tracking and the technical progress and execution of the satellite programs. They must have the ability to understand the customer's vision and to work with the team to translate it into a solution, ensuring the requirements and performance are achieved.

The Spacecraft Systems Engineer will also be involved in the development, assembly, integration, verification and test of concept prototypes and engineering models, ground systems and space flight hardware.

The Spacecraft Systems Engineer will support interactions with customers, and provide technical support to related proposal efforts.

KEY SKILLS
  • Ability to understand mission goals and objectives and translate them into a technical solution
  • 3-5 years of experience in spacecraft and space technology development
  • Experience in some or all of the phases of assembly, integration, verification, test and operations of space systems.
  • Familiarity with 50-500kg class satellite systems and subsystems
  • Understanding of risks and risk mitigation for space-based systems
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to present information clearly to a diverse audience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting workloads
  • Ability to work independently, and also within a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Ability to thrive in a technical environment
